Well its been along time since I’ve even begun to think about posting blogs or anything of the sort. I just took it as more distractions from my goals in life. But for some reason. I woke up this morning, dying from this cold I caught and decided hey…what the hell. I need to do something productive for myself every once in a while. So enough with the rants, why am I starting to blog again. Two words, Media Temple.

I’ve been super pissed off at them for about a year now. I signed up on the two year plan then dreamhost came along the next month with these great new plans. I was locked into crap. I hadn’t done anything on my sites for the whole year. Paying for nothing. Then a couple days ago they finally upgraded all of their servers to a sort-of comparable to DreamHost plans. A bit more expensive, but my girlfriend has DreamHost and I was running through her site and control panel and I don’t know. I’m still up in the air. Media Temple has this wierd level of quality and configuration you just don’t see at DreamHost. Its actually, professionalism. I pay two or three bucks more at media temple, but I get quality goods. There whole blog is silly really. Is this a reflection of the company? And to tell you the truth, they’ve been pulling some stupid stunts recently and they’ve been backfiring like crazy. Like they have this new beta file sharing service kinda like Napster where you post your songs or files up and sell them for whatever you want. Great idea until you start thinking copyrights. And the real question is why am I going to serve my sites on something that may have the future of Napster? Professionalism.

So here I am, on the new Media Temple servers, checking out the stuff and ranting on my new blog. Check it out often, I’m gonna really start posting some shiznit.
